RECENT WORKS
The Velveteen Rabbit - 2020
Hannah performed as a guest artist with Glasgow Dance Theatre for The Velveteen Rabbit 2020. She played the role of the Skin Horse in the nursery pas de deux with the Velveteen Rabbit.
“She was so old that her brown coat was bald in patches… She was wise for she had seen a long succession of mechanical toys arrive to boast and swagger, and by-and-by break their mainsprings and pass away.”
— The Velveteen Rabbit

“Madison Moves”
Hannah recently debuted her dance film “Madison Moves” as part of a larger project of Metro Arts Nashville. From Metro Arts Nashville:
“Hannah McCarthy's dance film "Madison Moves" incorporates dancers performing a single phrase of choreography in different locations across Madison. Socially distanced and wearing masks, the dancers also incorporate their own improvisational choreography based on their emotions or physical reactions.”
